Kim

A celebrator of life's journey, Kim's has taken hers on many pathways, desired and not! She graduated from college with degrees in Broadcasting, Theatre and Communications and moved to the Twin Cities to follow her dream (not quite sure in what) only to find a roadblock - the diagnosis of Lupus (SLE) which landed her on dialysis and ultimately a kidney transplant in 1988. As fate had it, she met her soul mate while on dialysis - they married in 1990.  Gary passed away from cancer in 2015.

Kim and Gary balanced fulltime careers with their second gig - dialysis, a rare feat!  Kim worked in the arts, settling into non-profit leadership, serving individuals with disabilities (30+ years) - adding a real estate license and voice work along the way. Makes for more stories, right! Today, Kim enjoys consulting (on all things important), volunteering for animal rescue, directing her canine/feline brood and living life to the fullest!  Jump on the story train!

Rich

For 47 years of his life, Rich has had the incredible experience of being able to make a living as a costume designer and actor. His work has been seen in every major theatre in the Twin Cities as well as across the
United States and currently , he is the resident costume designer at Chanhassen Dinner Theatre.
None of this would have ever been possible without the love and support of his partner of 38 years, Jeff Sybrant, who he lost to cancer in 2019.
And with the continued support of multiple, wonderful natural and chosen family units, he is still living the dream!!
